How to upload your DNA data
If you already have a FamilyTreeDNA account for this person:
- Sign in to your account.
- In the upper-right corner, click "Add Ons & Upgrades."
- Scroll down to the "DNA Transfer options" section.
- Under "Autosomal Transfer," click the "Transfer now" button.
- Follow the prompts to upload the raw DNA file.
- Important: If this person has already taken a Family Finder test, you cannot upload their DNA again. Their autosomal data is already in our database, and a second upload would create duplicate profiles.
If you are new to FamilyTreeDNA:
- Click "Create an account."
- Upload your raw DNA file.
- Start exploring your matches!
